The Amazing History of the Medication Phentermine
As the 1900's progressed up to today's day and age, a combination of reasons seem to lead to the increase in obesity among 1st world nations. The medication phentermine was once sold under the trademarked name of Fastin®, as many of you may remember, however in 1998 its makers (King Pharmaceuticals for SmithKline Beecham) took it off the market for some strange reason, as now it may be one of the most highly prescribed medications for weightloss.

for weight loss, unfortunately it was proved to be far too dangerous for your health.
On the date of July 8, 1997, the Mayo Clinic reported 24 patients developed heart valve disease
after taking Phen-Fen. Five of these patients needed to undergo serious valve replacement surgery. After the surgery a disturbing discovery was made, the diseased valves, caused by Phen-Fen, were found to have the same distinctive features similar to those seen in carcinoid syndrome.
